•  Led the Battalion and assisted the Battalion Commander in all endeavors and events dealing with the Battalion.

• Oversaw and managed the Battalion Staff to keep morale high and keep events for the Battalion up to date.

• Was the Officer in Charge for Charlie Company (Period 3) for the 2010-2011 School year.

• Planned lessons and taught the class on variety of subjects (First Aid, Map Reading, Military History, Drill and Ceremony).

•  Assisted in the various administrative duties of managing a small class, such as grading papers, and inputting grades.

       JROTC Summer Camp Platoon Leader                                                                                                                  2008

•  Led a group of approximately 24 cadets through a couple days of camp activities, looking out for their safety and serving as a guide. Platoon was named Platoon of the week.

•  Achieved the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel in JROTC program; the highest rank available.

• Received multiple medals and awards in the JROTC program for leadership ability, and scholastic and military merit.

• Was named by the Senior Army Instructor as the Leader of the Month, and Cadet of the Month.

• Performed well on a multitude of events, such as Color Guards for local School graduations and local school Football games.

• Ranked within the top 25% for the Miami Sunset Senior High School graduating class of 2011.

• Was the Master of Ceremony for the 2011 Annual JROTC Awards Ceremony.
