2 arguments for my position are:

·      Social media offers people a way to connect with their friends and even make new ones!

·      It gives young people a platform to express their own opinions which is important for their growth.

Facts:
– Teens can use specific forms of communication via social media that allow them to explore their identities and find a sense of belonging (Honmayoun).
–People who lack social support and consider themselves to  be lonely are less likely to be using social media (Pittman).
–Social media offers a platform by which legislators can interact with young people and get them involved and engaged (Reid).
