I love this book. It had such a good ending. The ending didn't really surprise me. I had kind of placed everything together before everything was explained. The fact that there was actually a hound really did surprise me, I thought it was just a legend. Most of my predictions were right but there was a little more than what I thought.
I think that Sir. Arthur Cannon Doyle is an amazing writer. I have read most of the short stories of Sherlock Holmes. This was the first novel I have read by Sir. Arthur Cannon Doyle. The language was a little hard to understand because there was a little bit of old English thrown in every once in a while. I would recommend this book to Mr. Stein because it is full of suspense and really makes you think.
