Word/Web Assignment #1:

 

Create a word document called index.doc using a table.

On the left side column, create links for the home and contact pages.

On the top, have a heading that runs across the page.

In the main body part, include at least one word art and a downloaded picture and one hyperlink to Adelphi.edu.

Set a background.

Set the title to "<My Name> Home Page"

Save it as index.html.

 

Create another word document called contact.doc.

It should also have the left side column with links for the home and contact pages.

It should also have a background.

Its title should be "<my name> contact page>.

 Include your contact information in the body.

 

Upload this to the web. You should be able to click on all links. The title should appear in the blue bar.

A web page on panther: (which can either be a new index page or a link from your current index page).

(If you want to create a new index, ensure I give you credit for exercise #1 before you upload exercise #2.)

· a top of page bookmark on a page longer than one browser window
· a link to another site (not yours)
· a picture that links to another site.
