personal strengths and weaknesses, connections to prior experience and goals).
To write this document, first read your original personal goal statement. Then
write a few paragraphs that address these issuses:
- What did you end up learning?
- New Technical Skills
- New project control skills you think will help you
- Methods for solving technical problems and ways to get help
- Methods for solving interpersonal problems
- Did your writing or oral presentation skills improve?
- How did this match what you expected to learn before the project began
- Personal Strengths and Weaknesses
- Did you improve in the areas that you expected would be weaknesses?
- Did your strengths serve you well (or did they become weaknesses)?
- Did you discover new weaknesses or strengths, and perhaps ways to use
those?
- Connections to prior experience
- What did you end up using from prior classes or internships in this
project (include both technical skills and processes )?
- Did you find you used some of your non-computer class knowledge for
this project?
- Did you end up drawing on the prior experience you expected to draw
upon at the beginning of this project?
- Your personal goals
- Did you end up achieving all your personal goals as stated in your personal
goal statement?
- Did you discover new goals were met?
- Teamwork
- You are welcome to include comments on the experience of working with
your partner or not include that.
- You are welcome to include comments on whether working with other people
in the group was helpful. Please do mention people outside your group
who greatly helped you.
