Windows Explorer (or Mac Finder) Quiz
Preparation
If you cannot do the following with windows explorer or mac
finder please work with the tutorials below.
- Open windows explorer or finder to show all files (Right click
on start and then choose explore will always work for windows)
- Show all files in a folder (in windows explorer Use the plus
sign )
- Know the difference between a file and a folder
- Be able to view details of a file such as filesize and changed
date
- Be able to view the contents of your cd
- Be able to create a new folder where you want it to go
- Be able to rename files
- Be able to copy, move and delete files
- Be able to see the filetype (in windows: tools, folder
options, view, and unclick "hide extensions").
- Find a file when you know the name, but have no idea what
folder it is in
- If you know how to use windows explorer or finder to do these
tasks, you are done. If not, please look at the optional
tutorials below to learn how to do these tasks. (You can choose
the tutorial you most like to use.) Please email me with any
