Create a thumbnail picture:

1) Save a picture you want to use in the same folder as your index.html.

2) Open that picture in irfanview and make a new picture that is a smaller sized version of the large one by doing the following:
Open irfanview
File / open and click on the picture
Image / resize & resample
Under "set new size", choose inches, and then click 1.
Choose ok
Choose file / save as (NOT save)
Navigate using the down arrow next to "save in" at the top to the folder with your original picture.
Add "thumb" to the "filename" box at the bottom. (i.e. picthumb)
Exit irfanview.

3) Add the thumbnail picture to a page by doing the following:
Open mozilla
Window / Composer
File new to create a new page
Insert / image and choose file
Double click on the filename ending in thumb that you just created
Click on the "link" tab. (If you are already out of the dialog, just go back by right click on image and then choose image properties)
Click on choose file.
Double click on the original picture.
Save

4) Add a link from your index to your new page.
In mozilla composer, open index.html
Type "new page" and highlight that and then insert / link
Double click on the new picture page you created in step 3.

5) Drag your changes to panther and see them in internet explorer. When you click on the small picture, you will see a big picture.
