Detailed instructions on creating the power point slides: (Not PPT
2007)
Start with a blank presentation, not an auto-content one.
Choose File
Choose New
Choose Blank Presentation
(Remember: DO NOT Choose a slide design. (Do not : Format /
slide design and click on a template) )
The first page should be a title type with your name, your class
time (i.e. 8:00 or 12:15) and your topic.
If you do not see "click to add title", choose format, then
slide layout and then click on the picture that has two horizontal
lines.
Click on the words "click to add title."
Type your name and everyone in the group.
Click on the words "click to add subtitle"
Type the title of your presentation.
On at least 1 page, format the background and choose a very light
color. (format / background) (You may need to check the "omit
background graphics from master" box.)

Hit the down arrow next to the white box
Choose fill effects
Chose texture (or whatever you want)
Choose colors or patterns
Hit okay.
On at least 1 page, make a bulleted list. (format / bullets and
numbering)
Highlight the text
Format
Choose bullets and numbering
Choose a style
On at least 1 page, insert at least 3 pictures. (just edit / copy
and edit / paste)
On at least 1 page, use a different slide layout (format / slide
layout).

click on the different pictures to the right
Animate one picture to do anything you want. (slide show / custom
animation / add effect) (It is okay if you cannot figure this out.)
Highlight the object you want to move.
Choose slide show
Choose custom animation
Choose add effect
click any effect
enter
Change the transition between your slides (view / slide sorter /
right click on slide transition) (It is okay if you cannot figure this
out.)
Choose view
Choose slide sorter
Right click on a slide
Choose slide transition
Make a hyperlink from any one slide to another slide. (insert /
hyperlink and fill in both address and text to display) (It is okay if
you cannot figure this out.)
Highlight the text you want to be clickable
Choose insert
Choose hyperlink
Click on "places in this document"
Click another slide.
Optional: Try to Put your name in the footer of every slide.
(View header/footer and enter your name next to "footer" on both the
slide and handout tabs.) (It is okay if you cannot figure this out.)
Choose view
Choose header/footer
Click the slide tab
Enter your name next to "footer"
Click the handout tab
Enter you name next to footer
Print the presentation as handouts (without color). (File / Print
/ "print what" = "handouts")
Choose file
Choose print
Next to print what, down arrow to handouts
Click ok
Post your presentation on the ethics day discussion board. If
your topic exists, reply to it. If it does not, create a new thread.
