Start Final Project

Final Project Layout

The entire project is due at the end of the semester. When you work outside class, you must upload your work to panther, or email it to yourself, so you can continue to work when you are in the classroom.

For next class, you need to do the following:

  • bring to class a written layout of all the pages you will put into your final project
  • put a powerpoint (with web links, slide transitions, animation, and a picture on the master slide) on panther or email it to yourself to be placed onto panther later for your final project

You may also want to start working on the web site. If you do, please upload all your changes to panther, including all your pictures, or email them to yourself so you can continue working in class.

Here are the instructions for the final project layout (including instructions for the powerpoint)

Optional tutorials

What you need to know about JPG, GIF and PNG --> Use them instead of other formats for web pages. They use file formats that make the most sense for the web. They will take advantage of the fact that there are fewer pixels on a screen than on a printer. They compress well so they are quick to download.
