Marchelle Charles

Marchelle was born in Queens, New York and has been working as a makeup artist currently for 3 years. She was trained and mentored by makeup artist Christine Martin. She plans to move into Los Angeles to gain a bi-costal clientele. Her specialties include fashion and beauty styles. She usually used M.A.C., NARS, and Arborne but is open to using all other types of cosmetics.

As a child, Marchelle was always into the arts. She loved to draw, paint and play with her mother's makeup. She took art classes in high school, but lost her path with no support, she chose to major in Psychology at a near by university. Here she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, still in her heart knowing she needed to pursue makeup artistry. During her college years she became certified and searched for makeup institutions to further her education in the field. Marchelle was always on top of all the trends in fashion magazines, shows and editorials. After she realized that makeup artistry was her true heart's desire, she pursued it full time with nothing holding her back.

The most important element of Marchelle states that the most important aspect of working as a makeup artist is "being able to wake up happy every morning knowing I am doing something I love as well as using my creativity to enhance natural beauty and bring out a person's individuality."
