PRO CON WEBSITE AGAINST MY POSITION

My position: Social media has helped people communicate better

 
Argument #1: Negativity can spread fast

Its easy for people to show you hate without really saying it to someone face to face (Eichmann 1).


False information can be spread easily because of how fast word goes around (Eichmann 1).

Argument #2: Many people lost social skills due to communication through social media 

" It is now socially acceptable to talk to seven other people while in real-life conversation with one." (  Goldberg 1).


We live in a world where we can do almost anything at our fingertips (Edwards 1).


Argument #3: Our writing techniques are getting worse 

Words are getting summarized like text messages and people are writing like that as well (Edwards 1).

Kids cannot write correct grammar due to spell and grammar correct on phones and computers (Edwards 1).
