Adelphi University School of Social Work, along with Lower Hudson Valley Perinatal Network, Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Marist College, and Maternal Infant Services Network, convene a workgroup symposium to identify community-based opportunities in marginalized communities and improve infant/family health needs on January 19, 2011 at Marist College.  Critical to this workgroup is identifying gaps in services, and conceptualizing if not mapping the resources, opportunities and support systems available within at-risk communities in Hudson Valley to improve overall well-being of infants and young children and their families.  For further information on this specific symposium, please contact kellyassistant@gmail.com or kelly5@adelphi.edu
