The Lambda
Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon hosts 2 main events per year,
at which they raise money for their philanthropies.
The first event of the academic school year is the 65 Roses Gala.
The
65 roses gala is called that because, children
with Cystic
Fibrosis
can not pronounce it
so they call it “65 roses.” We host a gala to
raise money and awareness for the
disease.
The second event
is ANAD Week, held
in February.
We have a table outside the UC
everyday raising money and awareness for Anorexia Nervosa
and Associated Disorders. We end the week with a Candlelight
vigil in honor of those fighting with eating disorders,
and those who lost their lives to them.
