Standings and highlights!
- We ranked 21st in the entire nation in ERA as a pitching staff
- We upset the number 7 team in the country by taking 2 out
of 3 games
- Ciclieo had a break out game in a do or die situation
against pace with 3 homeruns
- Our lineup featured 4 all conference and all rookie team
members
-We were able to finish the season with 26 wins a pretty
solid year
- We had great contributions all around from every guy on the
team and are poised to have a great bounce back season as many
teams are graduating much of their lineups but we are returning 8
out of our 9 guys
We had a very rough start to divisional play and things
weren't looking great all around but then we rattled off 10 wins
in our next 13 games and got hot at the right time to shoot up
into 3rd place and 6th in the region. We really finished strong by
ending up winning 21 of our last 27 games however came up just
short in the last inning against the number 7 team in the country
New Haven. One of our senior captains Steven Withers just missed
putting us way ahead in that game by about 3 inches. I guess it is
true what they say about baseball, its a game of inches.
