There are an immense amount of reasons why you should join our Adelphi University Equestrian Team:
New members need not worry about not knowing anything about the sport! Many of our members are first-time riders learning the ropes and can turn to either our wonderful trainers, our stables, or our more experienced riders for advice and help in advancing in riding.
By joining the our great Equestrian Team, you gain the ability to learn to ride at a discounted price and also are eligible to compete in showings, furthering your ability to become an amazingly skilled rider. Do not worry about competing your first semester on the team, we make sure that all our riders are confident in their abilities before we put you in showings!
Being on the Equestrian Team also means that you learn to care for and understand the wonderful horses you will be riding on. It is not just about the riding, but you also gain knowledge about the necessary maintenance, supplies, and attitude required to be an excellent rider care-taker.
The Adelphi University Equestrian Team provides the opportunity for individuals to gain experience and knowledge about horse-riding that can be utilized even after one leaves the university! What you learn with us will definitely be used to further your passion after you leave us!
