Arguments Against My Position: Phones and all online communication methods including social media should be banned from being used on school grounds due to students being cyber-bullied by their peers.

Argument #1:

 If children are not old or mature enough to handle the harsh realities of what people say in the real world, they are not ready to have access to the web or social media platforms.


Their are arguments made that students are being given access to technology, social media and cell phones at too young of an age where they cannot handle the hardships and realities that come along with it. (Glazer 1017)

Argument #2:

People belive that kids in this generation are being raised too 'soft'

Kids in this generation are being fondled and protected from the realities of people in the world by their families, schools, peers and even society which is causing them to be more sensitive and unable to handle the realities when they are forced to face it eventually. (Kanwal 789)
