The Mary Louis Academy, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, NY, provides an atmosphere which fosters academic excellence and respect which in turn nurtures the whole person by integrating faith and life. Our curriculum follows the Catholic doctrine; our values-centered environment fosters a mindful awareness, tolerance and respect for self and others.
Ms. Scully, the Campus Minister, is responsible for facilitating the faith life of The Mary Louis Academy. As Campus Minister, Ms. Scully works to implement the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who sponsor our school. The mission, which is unifying and reconciling, leads each member of our community to love all others without distinction. Ms. Scully’s graduate educational background in Religion and Religious Education along with her upbringing in the diverse city of Troy, New York allow her to approach her ministry with great eagerness and commitment. She comes from a big immediate family, has served her local communities in various capacities throughout her life and believes that just as Jesus has an amazing story and purpose, so does every other person. A passion for bringing the love of God to others drives Ms. Scully to be creative, fun, open and in enthusiastic her role as Campus Minister.
