My family is in dire need of a tropical vacation. Although we travel to New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida every so often, we haven't been out of the country in some time. The last time we left the country was in 2003 when we took a cruise to the Bahamas. Quite honestly, I don't remember much; I was only in second grade at the time. And if I barely remember the vacation, I don't know how my sister who is two and a half years younger than me could remember or my brother who is five years younger than me could remember.
Fortunately, my dad started working again after being unemployed for three years and his 50th birthday is coming up in the beginning of July. My mom wants to do something special and memorable to celebrate and I suggested taking a 10-day, tropical, relaxing vacation. Fortunately for my mom, I made it easy and figured out all of the details.
