Pro Arguments for Cyber bullying

Two arguments for my position are:

Cyber bullying can lead to depression, anxiety, and even suicide.

The issue with cyber bullying is that since it takes on the internet, it is there forever. Whatever is put on the internet is not erasable and will be present until the end of time. (Beale, A., 2007, pg 9)

Cyber bullying is the worst form of bullying because it is online for anyone to see it. Once you put something on the internet, you can’t take it back.

"in the past when students were bullied in school they could at least seek the safety of their own home, but with cyber bullying the bully goes home with them." (Beale, A., 2007, pg 11)

More than 50% of young adolescents reported that they received some form of cyber bullying or abuse when being active in an online chat room. (Erb, T., 2006, pg. 2)
