I am a member of the women's lacrosse team at Adelphi University.
I am a freshman starting defender and have made a contribution
 to the success of this team. This year we  went 16-0 and won the title
of ECC champions with a conference record of 4-0 for the second
year in a row. It's difficult to juggle both school work and lacrosse
but being a member of such a successful team has forced me
to push my limits everyday in order to continue to get better and keep
my spot in the starting line up. This has been reflected in my work
 ethic because I will work as hard as I can to complete tasks at hand
 and reach my end goal. It has also helped with my leadership skills
both on and off the field.
