Textbooks

You can buy the two books together as a package, either from the Adelphi bookstore, or on-line from the publisher at ichapters.com. You can also buy the textbook (Peck and Devore) as an ebook from ichapters.com.

Data CD The lab manual (Carver and Nash) comes with a CD-ROM including data that is used in the examples and labs that are assigned in the book. We will frequently be using this CD during class. If you buy a second-hand copy of the book somewhere, please be sure that the CD-ROM is included.

SPSS software: In this class, we will be using SPSS statistical software to solve complex statistical problems. You do not have to purchase the software yourself. It's available in our classroom and on public access computers all over campus, in the Swirbul Library and in various computer labs.
