Daily Schedule for the Adelphi Program by Design Workshop

The schedule each day will look roughly like this:

We intend to start and end on time. We have a lot of material to cover in a week, and if you show up late and miss some material, you'll have a hard time catching up.

The Fourth of July falls on Wednesday, right in the middle of our week-long workshop. Campus is officially "closed": you won't be kicked out of your dorm room, and at least one cafeteria will be at least partly open for at least a few hours, but there's no catering and we don't have access to the library. I have two options in mind, and am open to discussion:

• Just skip that day; local people can spend the day with their families, and non-local people can spend it sight-seeing. Both kinds of people can use the day to digest some of what they've learned in the first two days, work on their programs, etc.
• Have an abbreviated morning session, ending at noon, either outdoors with laptops or in a Department computer lab to which I have a key. Again, people can spend the afternoon with their families or sight-seeing, and they can digest the first two days' material and work on their programs.
