Getting Here

The workshop will be in a computer lab classroom, room 227 of the Science Building (the round white building in the center of campus, building N on the campus map). Meals will be at the University Center cafeteria, about fifty yards away. All of this is on the main campus of Adelphi University, Garden City, NY.

See the maps of campus and the nearby area, and directions to the campus.

If you're coming from outside the greater New York City area, you'll presumably come by plane or train.
By plane: fly into JFK, LaGuardia, or Islip, and take a taxi ($20-30) to Adelphi University in Garden City. Or rent a car and follow the directions and maps.
By train: come into Penn Station New York, walk down a flight of stairs from the Amtrak level to the LIRR level, buy a ticket to the "Nassau Boulevard" stop ($4.25, or $6.25 during evening rush hour), and take a "Hempstead line" train. It should take about 45 minutes to get to Nassau Boulevard, possibly changing trains at Jamaica. From the train station, cross Nassau Boulevard and walk about five short blocks east, parallel to the train tracks (they're on your left), to campus.
