I develop and lead interdisciplinary initiatives that connect emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, extended reality, and digital technologies with research, development, education, and institutional innovation. I bring people and ideas together across the University and with industry and community partners, creating opportunities to explore leading-edge advancements, collaborate across disciplines, and turn creative ideas into meaningful projects.
Scholarship
My current work in academic innovation builds on an extensive background in mathematics and computer science. My scholarly interests include the foundations and applications of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, computer graphics and GPU programming, multimedia and video game development, digital archiving, and number theory.
I have authored books on Java and Python graphics frameworks and game development, published research in mathematics, computer graphics, and augmented reality, and directed undergraduate research projects involving neural networks, virtual reality, augmented reality, data visualization, game development, and interactive software applications.
