Steps:
- Cut 3 strands from your 3 different colors of string about 3 feet each.
- Grip all the strands together and tie an overhand knot leaving a tail of about 3 inches.
- Attach your strings to something - you can use masking tape to tape it to a table or clip it to a clipboard.
- Using your left-most string, bring it over string 2, behind string 2, and back in front of string 1. Make sure you are holding string 2 tight.
- Pull string 1 up and slightly to the right, firmly to tighten the knot.
- To continue down the row, use the same string you used to make the knot on string 2 and use it to form the same knot on string 3.
- Continue using string 1 to make the same knot on string 4, 5, and so on until you have made a knot on each string all the way across.
- Do it again starting with your left-most strand.
- Keep doing this until you've made your bracelet the length you want.
- When it is the right length, make another overhand
