Once Upon a Time begins with an Evil Queen who will stop at nothing to get her happy ending, even if it means killing the person she loves most. She intends and succeeds in casting a curse where all fairy tale characters are transported to a place where happy endings aren't guaranteed, our world.  They don't remember who they are or their past and relationships with each other. This curse was designed to be the darkest of curses in all the realms, unstoppable really. However, there is one person who is powerful enough to break the curse, the product of true love. The daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming is the only hope to breaking the curse, but there's one problem of course. She grew up as a foster child in Boston, where the only happy ending she thought was possible was to get adopted by a family. She doesn't believe in magic or fairy tales until one special little boy comes a long, her son. It's never to late to become a Oncer!
