I love
music a lot, so I decided to make a page where I
discuss my favorite albums of all time, as well as
new music that is coming out this year and many of
the upcoming shows that will be taking place soon
in New York and parts of New Jersey.
One of my favorite
drummers, Mike Portnoy (played with Dream Theater,
Avenged
Sevenfold,
The Winery Dogs, Metal Allegiance, Neil Morse's
Flying Colours, Twisted Sister, and Sons of Apollo
- he obviously doesn't have a lot on his plate)
put up his top
100 favorite albums online. I am a
naturally indecisive person, so it's hard for me
to narrow down all of my favorite albums and pick
only a few of them. Instead of 100, I'm
going to do 25 (it's easier to read that way) and
to challenge myself even more, I decided to not
only make the list, but use it for my Introduction
to Computers final.
There
are a lot of good albums dropping this year, so I
wanted to add a part to the web page where I can
discuss new music. For example, the latest
Judas Priest record and the debut by Legend of the
Seagullmen are incredible albums.
There are also a lot
of major tours that are both currently happening
and will also be taking place this summer. I
got tickets for a handful of shows. I want
to be able to put up both the tours that will be
occurring and the links to nearby venues with the
event information.
This web page pretty much serves as some kind of
musical blog, which I don't have - but if I DID
have one, it may look something like this.
