EdScheme programming-contest experiment

In Florida, the EdScheme people conducted studies ... while they were still in a public school. Again, the Schemers handily won, and what's better, they were so good at Florida's programming competition that they were banned. (Yes, banned.) The first year the competition was open-language. The kids won hands-down. The second year, they restricted it to non-Scheme but allowed the kids to "design" in whatever they wanted. The EdScheme kids designed in Scheme and ... won.
